About the Author
Theresa A. Campbell writes with the quiet intensity of someone shaped by shadows, silence, and the unseen. She is the author of Ungodly Injustice, Marked at Birth, His Final Deal, Are You There, God? and its powerful sequel, God Has Spoken.
In 2015, USA Today named Are You There, God? a Must‑Read HEA Romance, a quiet acknowledgment of the uncommon depth woven into her storytelling.
Theresa’s beginnings were far from ordinary. Raised in rural Jamaica without electricity until age eleven, she grew up in a world where darkness arrived early and imagination became its own source of light. In those long, quiet nights, she learned to listen to the rhythm of stories, to the whispers of intuition, to the subtle truths most people overlook. It’s where her ability to see endings from unexpected angles was born.
Guided by an unshakeable belief that God is always present, even when hidden, Theresa writes with a blend of honesty and mystery that lingers long after the final page. Her characters carry secrets, her stories carry purpose, and her words carry the unmistakable echo of someone who understands that the most powerful revelations often come softly.
Theresa A. Campbell doesn’t just write stories. She unveils what lies beneath.
Five Stars. Fierce Stories. The Impact That Whispers: Theresa A. Campbell
How many times have you asked the question are you there God? Not from a rhetorical perspective but out of a need, out of true concern because the pain is so great.
We are introduced to two stories; one a back story but in my mind ran right along side of Dupree’ story, it was Mrs. Scott’ Campbell introduces the reader to two perspectives of God’s grace and our faith. The amazing thing is she weaves the story into itself for an audience looking for an inspirational read and those who are not. But for those of us who are looking for the movements of God you will not be disappointed. I think you might find moments when you are disappointed in yourself and have to regroup.
I was very surprised to have a character check me, heck I thought I had it going on but Dupree is the real deal and my lesson learned from her will stay with me always. The Lord will always go with the righteous,we have to be bold in our faith and not let situations cause us to forget. Dupree never forgot and God never forgot her even when she felt she made wrong decisions and couldn’t forgive herself.
The family support and heart of good people made this book an emotional one for me. At times I was crying, laughing screaming and on pins and needles trying to figure situations out. But in the end Campbell brought it together, I am definitely looking for the sequel, because once God speaks and we respond we need His follow up.
Outstanding read.
I have had this book and the sequel for quite some time and I haven’t gotten a chance to read them. All I Can say is O-M-G! This was a really good read. This book has a lot of adventure/drama twists and turns. Dupree is a young lady who has been raised by her great auntbut has been betrayed by many. Her great aunt has always told her to keep her trust in God and he will always see her through. Dupree learns this in so many ways. You will need to pick up a copy to see what happens next. Don’t sleep on this author. Great job Theresa A. Campbell.
I can’t even describe how wonderful this book is. All I can say is, you will NOT be disappointed when you read this novel. Theresa A. Campbell worked and weaved her talented words and crafted an inspirational, tear-jerking, love-consuming novel that had me laughing out loud, crying and wonderstruck, all in one. This novel touched my heart deeply and it will always be one of my favorites. I will be telling everyone about this novel!
This second book was so good! Sometimes when you keep secrets trying to help someone, you still end up hurting them. I’m just glad that in the end, everybody was able to tell their secrets, understand why people did what they did, and forgive one another so they could move on with their lives and be happy. With God you can overcome anything and forgive anyone. I hope Theresa A. Campbell decides to write another book continuing the storyline.
Ms. Campbell has written a wonderful story full of twists and turns. I found myself holding my breath as I read Suave’s story towards the ultimate triumphant, life in Christ. Suave is a modern day Saul who learned it’s hard to kick against the prick! Ms. Campbell explores many present day issues as she takes her readers on a roller coaster journey while Sauve engages in numerous deals until he realizes His Final Deal was the best. If you enjoy fast paced, edgy, and realistic Christian Fiction then His Final Deal delivers all of this and more. Great job Theresa.
Sometimes in life,we’re given a second chance, and it’s up to us what we do with it. Suave’s always been the hardest dude on his block in Jamaica, and he’s not afraid to flex his muscle or his status. He’s made it to kingpin status, and is generally doing pretty well for himself. However, his nemesis King Kong has had a beef with him since childhood and only has one goal in mind: getting rid of him and taking over the block. The two rivals made the shores of the paradise run blood red, and that shakes up the community to the core. Adding to this,a tragedy occurs for Suave that changes everything, and he’s also hiding a dark secret. Can he somehow manage to find his faith in God in spite of it all? Read it and find out!: Definitely a quick and drama filled read!
Theresa A Campbell shows her versatility as a write with her book His Final Deal. This urban tale set in the heart of Jamaica tells the story of Smooth Suave a Jamaican Drug Dealing Rude Boy who has his mind on his money and his money on his mind. He has it all money, women, power and respect but his thirst to rule the streets my be his downfall .
As we all know heavy is the head that wears the crown an that life at the top of the drug world is a dangerous and deadly place to be.
